Bolivian American Soprano, Franchesca Henry,Ā attends Shenandoah Conservatory, under the direction of Dawn Kotoski Shicoff in Voice Performance. Her passion for expression and cultural diversity fuels her curious nature and growth in the performing arts.Ā Franchesca is excited to complete her studies at Shenandoah Conservatory this upcoming year and to continue her growth as a musician. She will be performing with the Shenandoah Conservatory this upcoming November for a 'Night at the Opera'.

BIOGRAPHY
Driven and passionate soprano, Franchesca Henry, has always been eager to share her freedom of expression through the performing arts. She has performed in various concerts and operas, such as Die Zauberflƶte as Zweite Dame, and as a cover for Pamina. As well as choir ensemble for Andrea Bocelli: Cinema tour at the Verizon Center.
Born into a Bolivian family, Franchescaās background was enriched with culture and customs of Bolivia. She has appeared in the Macyās Thanksgiving Day parade, making parade history of being the first Hispanic ensemble to perform in the infamous parade with Virginia based Bolivian dance ensemble, Alma Boliviana (2014). Since starting her college education at Shenandoah Conservatory, Franchesca has studied under the direction of Dawn Kotoski Shicoff. She has worked with directors Neil Shicoff, Dorothy Danner, Alan Hicks, and Nancy Gustafson. She has been a featured soloist for Shenandoahās Cantus Singers, Shenandoah Chorus (2016- Present) and Shenandoahās sole a capella group, Shenandoah Singers (2017-Present). Franchesca has been awarded the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternityās Duke Ellington Award for the Arts (2013) and Seneca Valley Choir program award for Outstanding Musician (2015).
